This course is designed for [educators and] students to learn how they can help create a safe and positive experience online. By reading, watching videos, and doing activities, [educators will] learn how to integrate Digital Citizenship and Safety activities into [the] classroom curriculum.

Although it is not required to be certified to teach Digital Citizenship, it is an excellent opportunity to receive the certificate. Google has also provided significant resources to teach digital citizenship called Be Internet Awesome with Curriculum for Educators and Presentations to go along with the curriculum.
